Glow Up

Glow Up (GU) is a girls mentorship program that aims to serve young women struggling with their self-esteem and confidence. GU helps participants to change the narrative by inspiring a sense of empowerment and pride through 1:1 and group mentorship and connectivity to business ventures in beauty trades. Social-emotional workshops address mental health, social conflict, beauty standards, and more. Business-related workshops include exposure to career opportunities in hair styling, makeup and beauty, nails, fashion, skin care, and more. GU provides a platform that equips young women with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to nurture their dreams and believe in themselves.

Over the past 3 years, we have helped place youth in over 100 jobs through our Neighborhoods United program including jobs in construction, community engagement, tech/engineering, law enforcement, and more.
